FOLK DANCE CLUB

The Folk Dance Club offers students a forum through which they can learn and perform the various forms of folk dances in India. Membership of this club enables them to appreciate the rich cultural heritage of the sub-continent. Knowledge of the art form brings students closer to the people and serves to bridge the gap between rural and urban societies. The club members participate in various competitions, perform during college break-time, and are often invited to perform in other college forums. Folk dance features as an important performance during inter-collegiate events and College Day celebrations.
